The SPRacingH7ZERO is the latest in the SPRacing H7 series, featuring the same H7 400 Mhz CPU as the 20x20 H7NANO and the premium H7EXTREME.
While the H7NANO is designed for tiny frames and the H7EXTREME has built-in PDB and other high-end features, the H7ZERO sits firmly between them in terms of physical size and features. If you need PDB/PID-Audio/Dual-Gyro/Microphone/Transponder/Current Sensor features then check out the SPRacingH7EXTREME, however if you want an excellent H7 flight controller that's much better than previous generation F3/F4/F7 boards then the H7ZERO is for you!
The SPRacingH7ZERO has an ARM Cortex-M7 400MHz CPU with Math co-processor (FPU)
The H7 CPU is 2x as fast as F4/F7 CPUs which runs the control loop and filters at lightning speed.
Advanced IO support means zero jumpers and 7 flexible serial ports.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO has a QuadSPI 128MB ultra-fast flash chip.
Not only is the chip itself fast and huge, but it's connected using a 4-bit QuadSPI bus which means data transfers are 4x as fast!
The low-noise ICM20602 gyroscope and accelerometer sensor is connected to the CPU via a dedicated fast SPI bus.
Display VTX channel/band, battery voltage, current draw, capacity used, flight time, callsign, rssi, motors and other OSD elements.
Configure the elements on your OSD to your taste.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO supports direct connection to 2-6 cell LiPo batteries.
TVS protection diode fitted as standard.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO has the latest BMP388 barometer for altitude related tasks.
It has higher precision and less drift over-time than previous sensors.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO also features a MicroSD card socket for logging. Supports MicroSD/SDHC up to 32GB - just leave one in and log every flight!
The H7 ZERO supports the 4-bit SDIO bus, data transfers are 4x as fast as every FC using the old 1-bit SPI bus.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO allows firmware upgrades from the SD card.
It's also possible to boot from different firmware on SD card and store config on the SD card!
The SPRacingH7ZERO has other great features now with upgraded performance and specifications.
Hardware supports new Bi-directional DSHOT telemetry ESCs.
Bi-directional telemetry allows RPM filter in the firmware to remove motor noise for super smooth flight, no additional ESC telemetry wire or spare UART needed!
Full support for DSHOT or OneShot ESCs for easy PID tuning and a sharper response.
DSHOT is pure-digital and electrical noise resistant.
Supports SBus, CrossFire, Spektrum1024/2048, XBus/IBus, SumH, SumD, FPort, PPM & more. No external inverters required (built-in), receiver powered via flight battery or USB for easy configuration.
Dedicated ports for PPM/SBus/SumH/etc for easy connections.
Supports bi-directional and standard transmit-only telemetry systems including SmartPort/S.Port, HoTT, FrSky, Mavlink, IBus and LTM telemetry.
Telemetry enables audible and visible ground-station or receiver based alarms, warnings, information gathering and logging of FC data.
2-6S capable with enough current for powering your FC, Receiver, LED Strip, VTX and other accessories.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO allows control of your FPV camera's OSD via transmitter sticks on supported cameras
The H7 ZERO features a side-mount boot button to allow easy setting of boot mode for firmware flashing of the device.
The H7 ZERO features a side-mount button to allow easy changing VTX settings - channel, band, RF-power, VTX ON/OFF and more!
Use the USB socket to configure the flight controller, OSD and also for pass-though configuration and flashing of BlHeli ESCs.
The USB socket is not shared with any of the 6 serial ports.
Output for multi-colored LED strips - great for FPV racing, line-of-sight flying orientation and night flying.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO is allows you to use the transponder feature and the programmable LEDs at the same time!
Developer friendly debugging via SWD with boot mode selection, un-brickable CPU bootloader.
Solder wires or a JST-SH 4pin socket to SWD pads
Built in battery voltage monitoring, supports external current monitoring.
Buzzer port for audible warnings and notifications.
The SPRacing H7 ZERO runs Betaflight/Cleanflight* firmware which can be configured to suit your needs using a cross-platform GUI (Windows/OSX/Linux).
Measures just 5.1mm high!
Plenty of space for cables and accessories
Connect a GPS to a spare UART and Mag/Compass to I2C pads for GPS features
The SPRacing H7 ZERO features a Cleanflight logos so you can show your support!
Each purchase direct from the Seriously Pro shop also comes with stickers! (*when available)
The SP RacingH7ZERO was designed and built by none-other than Dominic Clifton, aka Mr Cleanflight, the guy that created Cleanflight which spawned forks like Betaflight and iNAV.
How many other FC manufacturers have heritage like that?
Product photos, screenshots of the project, related websites and tools.
The hardware was designed by the #1 contributor to Betaflight and founder of Cleanflight - Dominic Clifton - to be a powerful, simple and easy-to-install H7 FC.
The latest SPRacingH7ZERO PDF manual can be downloaded here.
The SPRacingH7ZERO runs and ships with the open-source Betaflight flight control (FC) software which is based on Cleanflight.
Betaflight provides users with bleeding-edge, fast-changing flight-control software, the best bits of which are picked for Cleanflight.
Most professional FPV racers use Betaflight to get them that winning-edge on race-day.
The SPRacingH7ZERO will also run the open-source Cleanflight flight control (FC) software which has an ever-growing community of friendly developers and users. Being open-source means that you too can contribute to the system.
Cleanflight comes with a detailed manual that is reviewed and maintained by the Cleanflight developers and community. No more out-of-date wiki pages and second-hand information.
Cleanflight based firmware and configuration software was used by most pilots and the winner of the World Drone Prix 2016!
The SPRacingH7ZERO when running Betaflight and configured using the Betaflight Configurator has a stack of great features, such as these:
“Cheapest standard-sized H7 based FC yet!”
